Dr Kantaphong Thongrong, CEO of PYONG Rehabilitation Group, Receives the “Business Model Person of the Year 2025” Award in the Medical Business Category
On 17 October 2025, the Foundation of the Science and Technology Council of Thailand (FSTT) held the “Business Model Person of the Year 2025” awards ceremony at Vayupak Hall, Floor 5, Vayupak Convention Center, Bangkok. Air Chief Marshal Jom Rungsawang, Privy Councillor, presided over the ceremony.
In the field of rehabilitation medicine, the programme has to date recognised only 2 people.
At the event, Dr Kantaphong Thongrong, also known as Dr Pyong, received the “Business Model Person of the Year 2025” award in the medical business category from the organiser.
This is recognition in a business-sector award programme under the foundation's criteria. It is not a clinical guideline, healthcare-facility accreditation, or evidence that a treatment is effective. Patients should still assess professional licences, qualifications, scope of services, consent processes, and treatment-specific outcome evidence separately from the award.
