Biography and qualifications
Ornicha Thititagul, MD (Dr Fangkhao) is a specialist physician in geriatric medicine.
She graduated Doctor of Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine, Srinakharinwirot University, in 2017, after which she added knowledge and expertise in the field of geriatric medicine, receiving the Diploma of the Thai Board of Geriatric Medicine from the Medical Council in 2023.
At present she is a specialist physician in geriatric medicine at the Siriraj-Samut Sakhon Geriatric Health Service Centre, Siriraj Academic Centre of Geriatric Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, and a lecturer in the field of geriatric medicine, Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.

Inspiration and philosophy at work: emphasising holistic care of older adults
Caring for older adults is therefore not only the treatment of disease, but the raising of quality of life and the capacity to live to the fullest. Ornicha Thititagul, MD, or Dr Fangkhao, a specialist in geriatric internal medicine, emphasises holistic care of older adults.
Dr Fangkhao's decision to become a physician began with an event that turned her life around, the loss of a member of her family, which gave rise to the wish to understand "what happened" and the desire to learn in order to care for people as fully as possible.
